unveiled at the same time as its competitor the peugeot 307 cc, the mégane coupé-cabriolet is the first renault fitted with a retractable hardtop / it stands out thanks to its fully glazed roof and its peculiar aesthetics, based on massive shapes and sharp lines / the radio antenna and the third brake light which stick out from the middle of the boot lid stress its eccentricity

available right away with gasoline 1.6 and 2.0 and diesel 1.9 engines, the mégane coupé-cabriolet gained a turbocharged 2.0 version in 2004 / the range has been thoroughly revamped in 2006 : besides a mild facelift concerning mainly the front end (the grille openings are now in the continuation of the headlights), the existing engines have been modified and no less than 2 new diesel engines have appeared, a 1.5 and a 2.0 / the mégane is now ready to compete with a batch of fierce newcomers : opel astra twintop, volkswagen eos and ford focus coupé-cabriolet
