description
as it happened with the 206 cc, the peugeot 307 cc was first unveiled as a concept car, the 37cc / unsurprisingly, the production version was introduced a few months later, and apart from the flashy details it was a carbon copy of the prototype / the front of the 307 cc is identical to the regular 307 but the rest of the body is original / the rear overhang is 15 centimeters longer as the large trunk has to accomodate the retracted roof / overall proportions are questionable under some angles, but at least the shape is rather flowing, which is not the case of the main competitor, the renault mégane coupé-cabriolet / however, the renault benefits from a fully glassed roof, which is not available on the 307 cc even as an optional equipment

the range had been including only two 2-liter engines for quite a while, but in march 2005 a smaller 1.6 has been added / more notably, the 307 cc has been updated in june 2005 : the front fascia is more aggressive and strongly inspired by the 407 / other improvments are in the cockpit : better finish and equipement / the long awaited 2.0 hdi has appeared in the range, and the basic 2.0 engine has gained a handful of horsepower
