description
the new 1992 honda crx came as a surprise to the crx lovers / the first two generations of this civic derivative were a very compact 2+2 sports car, but honda decided to change the formula : the crx (also known as del sol in the usa) became a 2-seat targa convertible that was rather focused on cruising than on pure performance / the japanese carmaker went even further on the top-of-the-range 1.6 vti which was available with a system that retracted the targa top into the bootlid / the complicated kinematics made it one of the craziest feature even fitted on a production car / it was available as an option on 1992 models, then it became a regular equipment from 1993 until the end of the 1.6 vti in 1995 / the basic crx ended its career in late 1997photos
