famous for its clever rotative roof unveiled on the alfa romeo vola concept car, italian design studio fioravanti introduces yet another retractable hardtop system / based on the fiat grande punto, the skill is a small pick-up whose backlight slides down into the partition separating the cockpit from the bed / the roof panel rotates through 90° then slides down into the partition too / unfortunately, the system appears to be badly integrated into the punto : the fixed, triangular roof arches are ungraceful, and the junction between the windshield frame and the roof is particularly botched up

it should be noted that prior to the 2006 geneva motor show, fioravanti had unveiled sketches of a more usual yet more graceful coupé/convertible punto / however, its roof kinematics remains undisclosed and the project hasn't turned into a real car yet
